South Korean actress Jung Chae-yul, known for her roles in popular Kdramas and films, tragically passed away on Tuesday, April 11.

In the agency's official statement, they shared the heartbreaking news, saying, 

"Today, we are relaying sorrowful and heartbreaking news. 

Actress Jung Chae-yul has left our side on April 11, 2023. 

In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family who must have been in greater sadness than anyone else, the funeral will be held quietly in private."

The statement also appealed to the public and media to refrain from spreading rumors or speculating on the circumstances surrounding Jung Chae-yul's death. 

They urged everyone to remember her as a dedicated actress and to pray for her to find eternal peace in a comforting place.

Jung Chae-yul began her career as a fashion model and gained recognition through her participation in the survival program 'Devil's Runway' in 2016. 

She then transitioned into acting and made her film debut in 2018 with the movie 'Deep'. Currently, she was in the midst of filming the web novel-based drama 'Wedding Impossible', leaving the cast and crew devastated by the sudden loss.
