SAD NEWS IN KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY : JUNG CHAE YEOL PASSED AWAY AT 26

The South Korean entertainment industry was struck with sadness once again when news broke out about the passing of Jung Chae Yeol, a 26-year-old actress and model.

According to reports on April 11th, Jung Chae Yeol's body was discovered in her own home. Fans of the drama Wedding Impossible were shocked as she was still in the midst of filming for the series.

The news also left the staff and actors of the show in disbelief, causing a postponement of filming until April 12th due to the tragic incident.

Jung Chae Yeol had previously appeared in various TV series and movies,

such as Zombie Detective (2022),

I Have Not Done My Best Yet (2022), and

Deep (2018).

The first report of her death came from popular South Korean media outlet, Star News, who mentioned that her body was discovered without any cause of death specified.

Her agency, Management S, later confirmed her passing to the Korean media, stating:

"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of actress Jung Chae Yeol's passing.

Her family will hold a private funeral in accordance with their wishes.

We ask that everyone prays for Jung Chae Yeol, who was a sincere and devoted performer, as she passed away peacefully."

Fans took to Jung Chae Yeol's Instagram to express their condolences and wish her eternal rest.
